The beach is a great place to make memories with the family. The children will have hours of fun building and playing while older kids and adults can take advantage of the many games such as ring-toss, volleyball and croquet.

Swimming in the bay

The fact that the bay is secluded and private means that everyone will have fun in comfort. Besides the dock attached to the shore, there is a floating raft, an island of fun waiting to be explored.

Kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding on the lake

Take advantage of the two kayaks, canoe and paddle boat to increase your fun. The small size of the lake, and seclusion of the bay, means that there are few powerboats to bother you.

Singing around the campfire

Campfires are an important part of the camping experience. Our campfire, nestled into the rocks, gives a spot for nighttime fun and frolic. We provide wood to get you started, with the option of buying more if you don't want to pick some up at any of the many spots that offer it along the Muskoka roads.

Going on hikes

The property is large enough, and treed enough, for children to spend hours hiking and exploring. There is a small creek that flows through the property into the lake, where the cattails and lilly pads make an ideal spot for minnows and frogs to live. Witnessing the stages from pollywog to fully grown frog, depending upon when you stay, gives the children an experience to remember.

Muskoka abounds with many things to do, if you are able to pull yourself away from the cottage, from local hiking areas to quaint shops to explore. We will ensure that you are kept informed of the things to do during your stay.
